Grace Bible Church
Privacy notice
This notice explains how Grace Bible Church handles the personal information you give us through this platform, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
What we collect
We collect the details you enter on the form you are completing. Depending on the form this may include your name, contact details, home branch or church, the department or ministry you serve in, and leadership, study, employment or business information. Every question you are asked is shown on the form itself.
Why we collect it
We use your details for church administration, leadership-record updates, pastoral and member support, ministry planning, communication about the event or matter you registered for, and authorized statistical reporting.
Who can see it
Access is limited to authorized personnel serving the specific event, branch, department or ministry your record belongs to. Your information is never sold and is not made available to third-party organizations for sales or commercial purposes. Every view of, change to, or export of personal information is recorded in an audit trail.
How long we keep it
Records are kept for as long as they are needed for the purposes above and are then removed or anonymised. You may ask us to delete your details at any time, and we act on that request unless the law requires us to keep a record.
Your choices
Agreeing to receive church communication is optional and is never selected for you; you can change your mind at any time. You can view or cancel a booking using Find my registration. You may also ask us to correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by contacting the church office or the organiser listed on the event page.
Security
Personal information is stored in an access-controlled database, transmitted over encrypted connections, and exported only by staff who hold an explicit export permission.
